Rob Scott is interviewed after the Dallas Court of Appeals issued an opinion in his case, Bryceland v. AT&T, concluding that wireless carriers have to abide by state consumer protection and contract laws or face liability in state courts. Mr. Scott provides commentary on the case and the importance of its verdict. Mr. Scott's clients, Trey Christensen and Darrin Brawner, were also interviewed about the case.
November 18, 2002 - KLIF-AM:
Rob Scott is interviewed about the Supreme Court's decision to consider whether death row inmates with bad lawyers deserve a second chance. The Court is set to review the case of a man who claims he was unfairly sentenced after being convicted of murdering an elderly woman. Rob Scott is interviewed about an incident in Deep Ellum that left a Dallas police officer on desk duty after an apparent assault caught on tape by WB 33 cameras. Dallas police were filmed hitting an intoxication suspect in the face and spraying another with pepper spray before an office shone his flashlight into the WB 33 camera, blocking the cameraman from filming. Mr. Scott provides legal commentary on the police assault and the possible infringement on the news crew's freedom of the press.
November 6, 2002 - KLIF-AM:
Rob Scott is interviewed about the pending Texas execution of convicted murderer James Colburn, who is on death row for a 1994 murder. His lawyers filed an appeal with the Supreme Court saying that it was unconstitutional for him to be executed because of his mental illness. Mr. Scott provides legal commentary on the case and discusses the constitutionality of the death penalty.

January 30, 2002 - KXAS-TV, NBC 5 News:
Rob Scott appears in studio to provide commentary on GAO's suit against the government to find out what happened in closed-door meetings with Dick Cheney. Mr. Scott says he thinks that the Bush administration is on strong ground in refusing to release information from private meetings.
