Jonathan earned his B.A. and Masters degrees from State University of New York at Stony Brook and his J.D. degree from Touro College School of Law. Jonathan enjoys an "AV" rating by Martindale Hubble.

Referred to by his colleagues as "the lawyers' lawyer", Jonathan insists on consulting personally with all of his clients, while actively supervising a team of associates. He brings both creativity and tenacity to every project, having worked on thousands of complex cases across the country.

Jonathan is a member of the bars of New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Washington D.C., Florida, and Pennsylvania. He also is admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of the United States and the United States Court of Appeals for the First, Second, Third, Fifth, Seventh, and Ninth Circuits.

Additionally, he is a member of the American Bar Association and the Federal Bar Council and is admitted to practice in the Federal District Courts in the Eastern and Southern District of New York.
